Lash Education

Time of Services?

Lash extensions are a delicate and detailed work of art. From the time you come into Lovely Lash Company we want to ensure you are going to have an experience that you will remember. We will always do a consultation of your natural lash health, what look you are trying to achieve and communicate with you how we can make it work biased on your natural lash health. Mapping your lashes out is an important step to ensure symmetry and a clean look. We also provide eye facials, a through cleaning and prepping of your natural lashes. Priming your natural lashes to get any excess oil or residue off to ensure we have a clean natural lash to work with. During the application we always will check to make sure we are achieving the look you desire. Before finishing we will apply a bonder to the base of the lashes to ensure we have a secure bond and finishing off your lash service with a saline rinse to help awaken and refresh the eye.

-Classic Full Set Appointment Takes 2.5-3 hours

-Classic Lash Fills range from 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

-Lift and Tint is a 75 minute service. A luxury all around experience; from hand, lip and eye treatments to not only waking up with lifted and tinted lashes you will feel relaxed and in awe of your natural beauty.

How often do I need fills?

We recommend getting your lash extensions filled every 3 weeks. While we pride our team on our retention and application, anything longer than 4 weeks could be considered a full set. On average we lose 2-3 natural lashes a day; which in a three week span is 63 lash extensions. The average first time application is 125-150 lashes on each eye! Also, during your lash appointment it is always important to remove any outgrown lashes. Together that could result in less than 40% of your lash extensions remaining. When booking a lash fill appointment it is very important to be open with us about what you experienced during your 3 weeks to help us understand if there is excess shedding. Extra picking, pulling, physical activity, lash cycle could increase the amount of lash extensions that came off during your fill as well. We always want to ensure we have the proper amount of time to give you the service you deserve and time required to do the work we need.

I have lash extensions from another salon, can I get a fill?

At Lovely Lash Company our top priority is lash health. We will do fills from other salons but they must meet our standards. We will do a thorough consult of your current lash extensions and your natural lash health. You must be able to comb through lashes, no major amount of lashes stuck together and the length/thickness of the lash extensions must be healthy enough for your natural lashes. If we feel you do not meet those requirements we will have an open conversation with you about the suggestion of a removal and full set or how we can set you up on a lash rehab plan! You must have 40% of your lash extensions to be considered a fill, if less than 40% a full set price will be applied. This is a two hour appt and all new client fills come with a full size Lash Wash and Lash Washing Brush!

Will lash extensions ruin my natural lashes?

Not if applied properly. At Lovely Lash Company we pride ourselves in perfect application every time. You will notice one lash extension attached to one natural lash. The true and only way lash extensions should be applied.

It will cause my lashes to become short, brittle or fall out.

Lash extensions when applied properly can be worn for years to come. People often find themselves thinking after getting lash extensions removed or going in between too long of fills and when they see their natural lashes they think they are shorter, thinner or even damaged! It's an optical illusion our brain likes to play tricks on us.

Does it hurt?

Lash Naps, sounds lovely right? That's what you will get when you experience services at Lovely Lash Company. Our services are relaxing knowing you're in professional trained hands who care deeply about client satisfaction and comfort. Lashes should never feel pinchy, pulling or be an uncomfortable experience.

Do not get lashes wet for 24 hours.

Myth! We love to do a saline wash or lash wash at the end of your service to prove just that. The adhesive we use cures with water or moisture in the air. Allowing you to sweat (sorry gym lovers), shower, swim or just dance in the rain and we promise you will not have to worry about your lashes falling off.

Can I still wear mascara?

Wearing mascara is a big NO, NO. Please do not wear mascara while getting eyelash extensions. It will take away from the classic individual look that we work hard to create. Mascara causes the lashes to clump together creating a spidery look. It can also cause you to have poor retention because you will have to work harder at removing your makeup. Our goal is to create that perfect look for you, hence why getting lash extensions is a time saver! We want to eliminate any unnecessary steps possible.

To touch or not to touch?

While we don't recommend pulling or picking at your lash extensions we do encourage brushing and daily washing. Its important that we cleanse and brush our lashes to keep oil, dead skin and debris clean of the lash line. Keeping our lashes clean helps eliminate bacterial buildup and infections.
